Smilow Cancer Hospital launches annual bike ride fundraiser
Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven recently announced its first annual Closer to Free bike ride set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 10. The 25-mile or 100-mile scenic shoreline bike ride begins and ends at the Yale Bowl Complex in New Haven. To reach our goal of raising $1 million, the proceeds of which support Smilow Cancer Hospital, a variety of participants, volunteers and sponsors are needed. Bone marrow drive April 13
Thousands of patients hope for a bone marrow donor who can make their life-saving transplant possible. Auxiliary seeks musicians for summer concerts by April 8
The Yale-New Haven Hospital Auxiliary is seeking musicians for its 26th annual Notes at Noon summer concert series. The 2011 season begins on Friday, June 10 and will run for seven consecutive Fridays (with the exception of Friday, July 1) through July 29. Each concert is held from noon - 1 p.m. in the Hunter Courtyard. The Auxiliary is seeking all types of music performers — folk, jazz, rap, rock, blues, country, gospel, a cappella, steel drum and more.
