Connecticut Magazine touts Yale-New Haven Hospital as a great place to work

Yale-New Haven Hospital has been selected by Connecticut Magazine as one of the state's "Great Places to Work," for the way the hospital cares for its most valuable asset: its employees. In its inaugural survey, the magazine conducted an in-depth assessment of Connecticut businesses with 50 or more employees representing a wide range of workplace settings — from financial and retail operations to industries in high-tech manufacturing and health care — to identify and recognize the places with the most productive and worker-friendly environments. Yale-New Haven — one of 23 Connecticut companies recognized — distinguished itself as a destination employer with programs that include the YNHH Day Care Center; the LivingWell health and wellness program; monthly birthday breakfasts and a workforce retention rate of more than 91 percent.
