Yale-New Haven performs Connecticut’s first third-generation INBONE™ total ankle replacement
For the first time in Connecticut,
Yale-New Haven Hospital has performed
third-generation INBONE
total ankle replacement surgery.
The new replacement is a titanium
and high-density polyethylene simulated
ankle joint, offering patients
improved ankle function and

Parkinson’s patients
Parkinson’s disease sufferers got some very encouraging
news recently when study results revealed that a gene
injected into the midbrains of patients improved their

Yale-New Haven celebrates 75 years of volunteerism
Established in 1933, Yale-New Haven Hospital has one of
the oldest organized hospital volunteer
programs in the country. The
hospital’s 1,200 volunteers contribute
more than 70,000 hours of
service annually. Energetic volunteers
of all ages and skills are needed.

In the United States, 10,000 women are diagnosed with
cervical cancer each year and nearly 3,700 women die
