Main Hospital Outpatient Services
Yale-New Haven Hospital provides a wide range of outpatient (same-day) services at our main campuses in New Haven. These services include gastrointestinal; gynecologic; cancer; and heart and vascular procedures. Your caregiver will provide you with information about your procedure, including whether or not it is available on an outpatient basis. On the Saint Raphael Campus, the Cronin Short-Term Surgery Unit is specially designed for patients who have outpatient surgery.
We offer diagnostic radiology (imaging) services
on our main campuses as well as at convenient locations around greater New Haven. In addition, we provide blood draw stations
(laboratory medicine services) at several easy-to-reach locations in and around New Haven.
Pediatric Specialty Centers
Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital (YNHCH) is the region's resource for a wide range of pediatric specialty care. Most specialty care is provided on an outpatient basis, mainly at our Pediatric Specialty Centers. The Pediatric Specialty Centers are major referral centers for outpatient pediatric specialty services, with more than 35 subspecialties offered.

The facility provides high-quality, convenient outpatient care in the shoreline area's largest, most comprehensive medical center.
YNHSMC offers ambulatory care, including diagnostic radiology, health education programs, hospital pre-admission, a blood draw station, nuclear medicine, a nutrition center, a one-day surgery center, cancer services including radiation oncology, and an emergency department that is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Yale-New Haven Hospital North Haven Medical Center offers clinical expertise, advanced technology and compassionate care to the residents of Norht Haven, Hamden, Cheshire and surrounding communities. Outpatient services range from walk-in care to treatment of chronic conditions such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and other auto-immune diseases. Laboratory and blood draw services are available on site.

Yale-New Haven Hospital Hamden Facility

They include radiation therapy (external beam radiation therapy, IMRT - intensity modulated radiation therapy, and IGRT - image guided radiotherapy).
The ElderCare Clinic in Hamden provides primary care and social services to seniors in easy-to-access community settings. Most ElderCare patients do not have a primary care physician and/or have mobility or transportation problems.
