The Bariatric Surgery Program at Yale-New Haven Hospital offers comprehensive care for the morbidly obese patient before and after weight loss surgery. Our staff consists of a team of professionals who are experts in their respective fields — medicine, nursing, nutrition, psychology and surgery. A dedicated bariatric surgical floor is led by medical caregivers specially trained in weight loss surgery and all of its facets. They follow standardized patient care protocols in order to provide consistent, compassionate care and support for the weight loss surgical patient.
