Keep practicing for Epic go-live


The Epic Playground — the place to practice scenarios from training classes — will keep your skills sharp for February 1. Log in to your hospital workstation with your network credentials. Look for the "Epic PLY_Hyperspace" icon on desktop. Double click for Playground access.

Focus on a healing environment during Epic go-live

During Epic's go-live, an additional 300 non-YNHH staff will be on site to assist. In addition, departments have increased staffing for go-live. Additional staff have the potential to create additional noise in patient care areas. To maintain a clean and quiet environment for patients, employees are being asked to follow these important pointers:

  • Speak in library voices at all times and ask others to do the same
  • Wear soft-soled shoes in patient care areas
  • Encourage inpatients to use headphones for TV, especially after 9 p.m.
  • Keep work areas clean and neat
