YNHH offers free income tax preparation on both campuses
YNHH and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is again offering free federal and state income tax preparation services to YNHH employees whose total household income was under $50,000 in 2012.
On the York Street campus, VITA tax preparers will see employees in the consultation room in the Fitness Center, 48 York Street, every Tuesday from February 5 to April 9, 11:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and on three Fridays, February 8, 15 and 22, 1:30-9 p.m.
VITA tax preparers will see employees on the Saint Raphael Campus on the third floor of the Selina Lewis building on Thursdays, from February 7 through April 11, 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Employees must make an appointment, which take 30-45 minutes, to see a tax preparer.
York Street employees should call the Benefits Office at 688-2401 and Saint Raphael Campus employees should call HR Reception, 789-3324. Employees are required to bring all W-2s and 1099 forms for the 2012 tax year; a copy of 2011's tax return; a copy of a photo ID (driver's license, passport or YNHH employee ID badge); original Social Security cards or individual taxpayer identification number of each person being claimed; and bank account information for direct deposit of refund by IRS.
