Yale-New Haven Hospital hosts roundtable on healthcare
U.S. Senator Chris Murphy and U.S. Representative Rosa DeLauro recently held a roundtable healthcare discussion at Yale-New Haven Hospital. More than 50 doctors, healthcare providers, and hospital leaders attended and discussed implementation of the Affordable Care Act. The group also discussed ways to inform Connecticut residents about the law's benefits and how to use the state insurance exchange when it opens on October 1. School supply drive under way — still time to donate
Seune Council (right), catering coordinator, Food and Nutrition Services, was pleased to be one the first employees on the Saint Raphael Campus to donate back-to-school items as school supply drive chairs (left to right) Sonia Nobrega, manager, Clinical Registration; Ann Amaturo, coder/biller, Radiation Therapy; and Lynda Pasquarella, executive secretary, Administration, stopped by to thank him. This year's donations will be presented to students at St. Martin de Porres and Wexler Grant elementary schools in New Haven. Employees may place donations in drop boxes located on both campuses or contact school supply drive chairs. The school supply drive ends Friday, August 30.
