Angela M. De Lisle, PA, named a Robert Wood Johnson auditor

Angela M. De Lisle, physician assistant, Northeast Medical Group, has been named an auditor in the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program.

The clinical scholars program is usually reserved for physicians; De Lisle is the first physician assistant to be chosen to audit its classes. De Lisle will learn techniques to strengthen her outcomes research among end-stage liver disease patients. Special interests within that population include infections, transplantation and reducing the readmission rate.

After completing her undergraduate degree at St. Joseph’s College in West Hartford, she went on to complete her master’s degree and physician assistant studies at Quinnipiac University followed by a surgical residency for physician assistants and a hepatology fellowship through Yale School of Medicine. De Lisle joined YNHH’s Hospitalist Program in 2008 and is the lead liver physician assistant and a clinical instructor of Medicine, Department of Digestive Diseases.
