Angela M. De Lisle, PA, named a Robert Wood Johnson auditor
Angela M. De Lisle, physician assistant, Northeast
Medical Group, has been named an auditor in the Robert
Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program.
The clinical scholars program is usually reserved for
physicians; De Lisle is the first physician assistant to be
chosen to audit its classes. De Lisle will learn techniques
to strengthen her outcomes research among end-stage
liver disease patients. Special interests within that
population include infections, transplantation and
reducing the readmission rate.
After completing her undergraduate degree at St. Joseph’s College in West
Hartford, she went on to complete her master’s degree and physician assistant
studies at Quinnipiac University followed by a surgical residency for physician
assistants and a hepatology fellowship through Yale School of Medicine. De Lisle
joined YNHH’s Hospitalist Program in 2008 and is the lead liver physician
assistant and a clinical instructor of Medicine, Department of Digestive Diseases.
