We have created this centralized resource to better serve our referring physicians and their patients. This service center provides:
- Direct and easy access to specialists
- A fast and simple transfer process
- A direct admit process from the referring physician's office
- Enhanced patient and family satisfaction
- Open and timely feedback on patient status
Referring physicians will not be responsible for providing insurance information; this process will be managed by Yale-New Haven Hospital. It is also our policy to provide notification of admission and continuing daily communications to referring physicians until the time of discharge.
