Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital Pediatric Consultation Service allows quick and easy access to YNHCH pediatric specialists to improve care by providing a consultation, assistance with an urgent issue or emergency transfer to YNHCH for your patient, 24/7.

With one call to our 24/7 Y-Access Line, 888.964.4233, our clinically trained operators will link you directly to the appropriate pediatric specialist.

Faculty medical and surgical specialists from Yale-New Haven Hospital respect the primary role of referring physicians in the ongoing management of patient care. Our mission is to address the needs of both referring physicians and their patients in an efficient manner and to provide ongoing clinical data access and communications regarding the patient's condition.

Referring physicians will not be responsible for providing insurance information; this process will be managed by Yale-New Haven Hospital. It is also our policy to provide notification of admission and continuing daily communications to referring physicians until the time of discharge.
