Choosing a pediatrician
You should choose a pediatrician during your last months of pregnancy. Yale-New Haven can provide you with a list of pediatricians in your area. Simply call our Physician Referral Service - (203) 688-2000 ext. 11 or toll-free 1-888-700-6543 ext. 11. Your doctor or midwife can also recommend a pediatrician. You can also use our online Physician Referral Service.
Choosing a labor partner
Women in labor benefit from the support and encouragement of one or two
people. Please choose one or two people who could be with you throughout
your labor and delivery. Ideally, this coach will attend childbirth classes
through Yale-New Haven Hospital with you, and bring you to the hospital
when you are in labor.
