Seymour’s professional acting career dates back to the late 1960s. She gained international fame playing the role of Solitaire in the 1973 James Bond film “Live and Let Die.” In addition to many other film and television roles, Seymour starred as Dr. Michaela “Mike” Quinn in the 1990s TV series “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman,” for which she won a Golden Globe award as best actress.
Seymour has also authored several inspirational and children’s books including the recently released The Road Ahead, and created the “Open Heart” jewelry collection for Kay Jewelers.
Norma Pfriem Breast Center provides nearly 1,400 uninsured and underinsured women with financial assistance for patient care and educates over 5,000 women and girls about breast cancer risk each year.
