Press Release Detail

Welcome to the Small Doses Blog

Welcome to Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital’s (YNHCH) blog, Small Doses.

The pediatric residents at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital created Small Doses with the goal of providing families with a consistent source of health and wellness information. Many of our patients and families turn to the Internet to help them learn about their children’s health. We hope that this blog will serve as a reliable and ongoing source of information for our patients and families.

The blog will focus on a variety of pediatric topics ranging from vaccinations and wellness to current events and news in pediatrics. We will also feature news and events from New Haven and the surrounding communities and include some of our favorite articles and posts from other pediatric websites.

Here is a list of some of the topics we will cover. As the blog grows we will include other topics and various types of content.

  • Articles and links to important topics in pediatrics
  • Seasonal information such as summer safety and flu season preparation
  • Resources and updates about events for families from around the region
  • Special commentaries on new and exciting pediatric research

We hope you find the articles, links and other resources useful. We are constantly trying to improve the way in which we deliver information so if you have any suggestions, comments or questions please email me.

If you are a member of our pediatrics department and wish to become involved with the blog please contact me. We accept article submissions and encourage anyone from the pediatrics department to contribute.

I am very excited about the launch of Small Doses. The blog will continue to grow and experiment with best ways to find, create and deliver the highest quality information.

Stay healthy!

Kevin Grassi, MD
