During Epic's go-live, an additional 300 non-YNHH staff will be on site to assist. In addition, departments have increased staffing for go-live. Additional staff have the potential to create additional noise in patient care areas. Yale-New Haven Hospital is a nationally recognized, 1,541-bed, not-for-profit hospital serving as the primary teaching hospital for the Yale School of Medicine.
