Just for kidsNo one has to tell you that having cancer is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. But we want you to know that we're here to help. Got something on your mind? Share it with someone. Ask questions. A lot of times, if you know what's going on, you won't feel so scared. And in the meantime, check out this section made especially for children with cancer. What about school? The social workers and physician assistants at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital will work with your school to make your return to school as easy as possible. They can arrange for you to get help with schoolwork at home and they can also talk to your teachers and principal before you return to school. Depending on how you are feeling, you might go part-time or full-time. But it's a good idea to return to school whenever possible and to keep in touch with your friends. To help you stay in touch, we've added a computer so you can e-mail friends from our Pediatric Specialty Center. Summer camps
