The Wound Healing Clinic at Yale New Haven Health, Saint Raphael Campus, provides compassionate, advanced care to anyone with a wound, whether minor, complex or chronic. We are committed to giving each individual specialized care with the goal of resuming a normal lifestyle with the best possible quality of life.

Our team

Our highly specialized and experienced team provides an integrated and comprehensive approach to patient care. We work with referring physicians to create an individual treatment plan specific to the patient and their wound. We provide complete assessment, treatment and education.

Our wound care experts include:

• Certified wound nurses

* Physicians are board-certified in surgery, critical care, and podiatry with specializations in complex wounds and burns.

Types of wounds we treat

The team treats both old and new wounds, caring for those who have difficulty healing due to diabetes, poor circulation, vein disease, trauma, surgical incisions, infections, medications, radiation therapy and immobility. Our areas of expertise include:

• Burn and skin graft follow-up care

• Foot, heel and ankle wounds

We work closely with our Yale New Haven Health partners in order to provide patients with the highest quality care. At Bridgeport Hospital (and Milford campus), Greenwich Hospital and Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is available to help the healing process of certain types of wounds.
