CME Online Education
Yale-New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus and the Department of Risk Management is pleased to offer CME Education in partnership with ELM Exchange, Inc. ELM Exchange offers Web-based medical-legal programs.
More than a dozen courses are available online including Connecticut State mandated continuing education requirements such as domestic violence, abuse and assault, HIV and infectious disease, cultural competency and risk management. Practitioners obtain one CME for each completed program.
Courses are designed to explore the legal implications of misdiagnosis, the use and role of opinions among health care providers, and the practitioner's responsibility for the care of patients. We offer this exciting program to our credentialed and privileged physicians as a courtesy to obtain CME credits.
