Our Experience
The Yale-New Haven Transplantation Center performs over 200 transplants each year – including heart, kidney, liver and pancreas – and that number is growing. We also specialize in helping those needing liver and kidney transplantation to find and evaluate potential live donors.
Yale-New Haven Hospital regularly ranks among the top hospitals in the U.S., and Yale School of Medicine physicians make up a significant percentage of the listings in Connecticut Magazine’s Top Docs listing each year. The hospital is a center of excellence for many types of organ transplantation and participates with the New England Organ Bank and the United Network for Organ Sharing. We try to reduce patient waiting time for transplantation and have an excellent record for patient and graft survival after organ transplantation.
