Who will take care of me in the hospital?
A multidisciplinary team of medical professionals including an attending physician, resident physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, clinical dietician, care coordination, social work, pastoral care and patient care associates. You will be interacting with these individuals throughout your stay.
Who will take care of me after I am discharged from the hospital or ED?
Your immediate post-operative or post-injury care will be handled by the Trauma/Surgical Critical Care/Emergency General Surgery attending physicians.

Do I have to pay for parking?
Yes, and the cost varies depending on where you park. Please see “Parking & directions” for valet parking information and parking garage fees.
How do I make a clinic appointment?
Please call (203) 785-4080 and provide attending physician when you call. The appointment can usually be scheduled about one to two after your stay.
Where is the clinic?
The clinic is located in the Yale Physician’s Building at 800 Howard Avenue third floor Surgical Specialty Clinic.
Who will see me in the clinic?
An attending surgeon, resident surgeon, physician assistant or a nurse practitioner will see you in the clinic.
Where do I park for clinic visits?
Your best choice for parking when visiting the clinic is to park in the Howard Avenue Garage. It is right next to 800 Howard Avenue where the clinic is located. For more information, see “Parking & directions”.
