About the project
As Yale-New Haven Hospital celebrates its 175th anniversary, we invite all who have passed through our doors to share stories, poems or other creative writings that portray examples of extraordinary courage and caring experienced at Yale-New Haven. We also welcome stories that provide historical insights about life and work at Yale-New Haven or its predecessor organizations Grace-New Haven Hospital, New Haven Hospital and the General Hospital Society of Connecticut Share
your
story... The doors of the hospital are always open and have been since 1826. Each day, 10,000 people walk through the cultural crossroads that is Yale-New Haven Hospital. No race, age, culture or class is exempt from its services. Throughout 2001, Yale-New Haven Hospital will salute its partners in healingthe patients, families, caregivers and all the communitites of Connecticut who have realized, built and carried on the important business of caregiving, which is what Yale-New Haven Hospital is all about.
