I made a difference for awhile

Oh! What my eyes have seen,
And my heart has felt.
Only you would know
When you’re frightened.
I’m there to hold your
Hand and see your pain.

Oh! To see the relief and
Trust in your eyes, as
You know I care.
And at times a few
Silly words are spoken
And it brings a smile,
And that’s all I need.
To see that I made
A difference for awhile!
