At Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital we offer comprehensive orthopedic care delivered with sensitivity to meet the social, emotional and developmental needs of every patient.

Orthopedics

Our multidisciplinary team focuses on the unique musculoskeletal requirements of growing children and adolescents. Among the special services offered are treatments for:

  • Children's fractures
  • Congenital anomalies of the hand
  • Hip Dysplasia and other Hip Disorders (Slipped Epiphysis and Perthes Disease)
  • Scoliosis
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Congenital disorders of the hip
  • Lower extremity disorders in children
  • Myelomeningocele
  • Scoliosis
  • Sports medicine

We provide pediatric orthopedic services at the Pediatric Specialty Center at YNHCH on the second floor of Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital in the West Pavilion; the Pediatric Specialty Center at One Long Wharf, on the second floor of One Long Wharf Drive; and the Pediatric Specialty Center at Norwalk, at 747 Belden Avenue.

Pediatric Muscular Dystrophy Program

The Pediatric Muscular Dystrophy Program at Yale-New Haven cares for numerous neuromuscular diagnoses and is one of only five pediatric MDA clinics in New England. Find out more »
