Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital provides free interpreters for patients and family members with limited English proficiency or for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Please let your doctor and the admitting office patient account representative know in advance about your language or hearing needs. If you need an interpreter while in the hospital, please contact your nurse or doctor.
YNHCH provides special equipment and services to patients (and their companions) who are deaf or hard of hearing.
