Title: "Thanks for Life"

"Thanks for Life," says the title of this ceramic mosaic, "Gracia A La Vida," made by orphans in Mexico and sent to the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital, with their greeting: "We present it to the sick children in the hospital of Yale-New Haven. We ourselves are children who came from very painful circumstances. We understand what it means to put our trust in the good intentions of those who look after us . . . We send our thanks to the people of Yale-New Haven., who inspired us to do this work. And we send our love to the children, with our hopes that their recovery will be swift, and they will come to see us in Mexico!"
