Doctors at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital (YNHCH) are warning parents and caregivers of young children to play close attention to the dangers of a national phenomenon posed by the ingestion of small batteries that resemble buttons or coins.

's annual "America's Best Hospitals." Of the nearly 5,000 hospitals surveyed, YNHH ranks nationally in eight of 16 specialties.

Yale-New Haven Hospital's Complementary Service Department will host a Labyrinth Walk, Thursday, May 7, 11 am - 1:30 pm in the Seminar Room at 55 Park Street. Free and open to the public, the labyrinth walk is a meditative exercise that allows for contemplation and reflection and provides a place to retreat, regroup and renew. Walking a labyrinth takes only 5 -10 minutes and supports each individual's personal journey.
