I am a clinical psychologist licensed in NY and CT with a specialization in forensic psychology completed at Fordham University. My areas of expertise are evidence-based treatments, particularly Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I am currently the Acting Director of DBT Services at Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital. This includes my role as the team lead for each of two tracks at the DBT Adult Intensive Outpatient Program, including a general track and a specialized track for treating substance-use disorders. I am currently working towards program development to expand DBT services throughout the hospital, including inpatient DBT services and a new "Orientation and Commitment" DBT outpatient group. Some of my research interests include evaluating the utility of risk assessment instruments, the development and evaluation of adaptations of evidence-based practice particularly for treating marginalized patients, and evaluating methods of personality disorder measurement.
