Ryan A. Quirk, MD

Ryan A. Quirk, MD is a physician for the Palliative Care team at Bridgeport Hospital. She is responsible for inpatient palliative care consultations for patients who are facing a serious illness with the goal to optimize their quality of life, treat a wide variety of symptoms including pain, and provide support to patients and their loved ones. Additionally, she provides inpatient pain management consultative services, works with post-operative patients and treats patients with sickle cell disease.Dr. Quirk works with an interdisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, social workers, and a chaplain to address psychosocial and spiritual needs throughout the patient’s hospitalization.Dr. Quirk has received multiple Quality Awards and Appreciation Awards throughout her training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Cleveland Clinic.
