YNHH’s School of Nurse Anesthesia invites those interested in becoming a certified registered nurse anesthetist to an open house, 9:30 am - 5 pm Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the Saint Raphael Campus Orchard Medical Building, Suite 216. Mindfulness class for employees
Employee and Family Resources (EFR) will hold Mindful Solutions, a free, six-week course for employees, 11 am - noon Wednesdays, Jan. 30 - March 6 at the Saint Raphael Campus, Private 300. The program will help participants become better equipped to manage stress, improve focus and be more resilient to life’s emotional ups and downs. Nursing research conference registration is open
Nurses throughout Yale New Haven Health System are invited to register for the 11th Janet Parkosewich Nursing Research Conference, 8 am - 3:30 pm Wednesday, March 27, Yale University, West Campus. YNHH Auxiliary scholarships available
The Yale New Haven Hospital Auxiliary is offering 10 scholarships for $2,000 apiece to area students planning to pursue health-related careers. Scholarships are based on academic excellence, financial need, personal statement and community service, including school and community activities and/or employment. Applicants must be high school seniors from one of these towns: Bethany, Branford, Cheshire, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Wallingford, West Haven or Woodbridge. Auxiliary seeks members
The YNHH Auxiliary is a diverse, dedicated and dynamic group of women and men who devote their free time to developing initiatives that support the hospital’s mission. Members can be as active as their schedules allow – joining committees, helping in the Thrift Shop, attending educational lectures and social activities or participating in philanthropic endeavors such as the Toy Closet or scholarship program.
