Medicine unit marks a milestone

On March 8, staff with the EP 9-5 Medicine Infectious Diseases unit marked the one-year anniversary of receiving Yale New Haven Hospital’s first COVID-19 patient. EP 9-5 also discharged the first and 1,500th Yale New Haven Health System COVID patients last year. The ceremony included remarks from staff and leaders. “All of you will always and forever be my personal heroes,” Erin Wilson, RN, patient services manager, told her team.
