Employees join ceremony honoring interns

On Aug. 3, Yale New Haven Health’s Institute for Excellence (IFE) and New Haven Promise held a ceremony to honor 13 interns from Yale New Haven Hospital’s School to Career program and five interns who participated in a Virtual Career Awareness program. For the first time, the ceremony included speakers who talked about healthcare careers in nine areas: Digital and Technology Solutions; Clinical Engineering; Environmental Services; Neuroscience’s Neurophysiology career ladder; Heart and Vascular Center nursing; Patient Financial Access; Digestive Health physician assistants; and Diagnostic Radiology, including CT Scan.
