These crew members keep YNHH on course

Business associates, unit clerks, clerical associates, information associates and clinical service assistants celebrated their day April 29 with a cruise theme. The program, which included speeches and a humorous skit, illustrated how these professionals help the hospital reach its goals for excellent care, high reliability and an exceptional patient experience. Keynote speaker Thomas Balcezak, MD, chief medical officer, shared Great Catch stories involving business associates and their colleagues to emphasize the critical role they play in keeping patients, visitors and fellow employees safe. Virgilio Dixon, RN, patient service manager, Yale- New Haven Children's Hospital Bridgeport Campus and Pediatric Primary Care Center, presented Alfreda Rawls, business associate, Pediatrics Unit, Bridgeport Campus, with a rose in honor of the day.

Congratulations, YNHH Nightingales
