You might call it an “artnership”

mural

Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital is partnering with members of Vista Life Innovations, Inc. art program to create a mural on the wall of a courtyard at the hospital, on Liberty Street. The colorful mural depicts a fantasy landscape with plants and animals. Vista Life, based in Madison and Westbrook, provides community-based transition programs and services to adults with special needs. Robert Ostroff, MD, medical director, Interventional Psychiatric Services, YNHPH, came up with the mural idea, which gave students in Vista’s art program an opportunity to use their creativity to brighten the space.
