U.S. News & World Report places Yale New Haven Hospital on eight national specialties for 2024 “America’s Best Hospitals”

NEW HAVEN, CT (August 1, 2023) – Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) continues to rank among the top U.S. hospitals according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual “America’s Best Hospitals” listing. Of the nearly 5,000 hospitals surveyed, YNHH ranks nationally in 8 of 16 specialties. YNHH has also made the U.S. News “America’s Best Hospitals” listing each of the past 32 years.

In addition to being ranked #4 nationally in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Yale New Haven Hospital scored well in Pulmonology and Lung Surgery (#25), Geriatrics (#26), Otolaryngology (Ear Nose and Throat) (#38), Gastroenterology and GI Surgery (#42), Urology (#41), Diabetes and Endocrinology (#45) and Cancer (#50).
