Yale-New Haven Hospital's Department of Community Health is dedicated to the highest quality patient and family-centered health care. We provide comprehensive services for acute and chronic medical problems as well as preventive care.

We are the busiest provider of patient care services in the region, caring for the largest number of Medicaid-covered and uninsured patients in the state. In addition, the hospital sponsors and participates in numerous programs and activities to benefit the people of New Haven and surrounding communities.

The Yale-New Haven Hospital Auxiliary is a diverse and dynamic group of women and men who devote their precious free time to making a meaningful contribution. Our dedicated group of volunteers routinely develop initiatives that help support the hospital's mission.

Community Benefits Reports

Every year, as part of our vital mission to promote health and wellness throughout the Greater New Haven region, Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH) sponsors, develops and participates in a wide variety of community-based programs and services.
