Childbirth Education - 2 Session - Greenwich

Session 1-Intro & overview, what to expect, rooming in initiative, preterm labor & PROM-risk factors, anatomy & physiology of pregnancy & birth, relaxation & breathing techniques, dilation, effacement, stations and contractions, signs of labor, stages of labor. Session 2- Pain Management, cesarean delivery, alternatives to natural labor, inductions, post-partum period, skin to skin initiative and breastfeeding, newborn characteristics and safety, birthing center tour.

Expectant mothers, partner can attend but does not need to be enrolled
