Blood Draw Services
Greenwich Hospital Laboratory collects and diagnoses blood and other specimens.
Routine and laboratory services are available.
Skilled phlebotomists perform routine blood collection procedures and experienced medical technologists analyze specimens for accurate and timely test results.
Specimens are processed as soon as they are received in the laboratory and routine testing begins immediately. Because specimens do not have to travel a great distance, test results are available sooner with less compromise to the integrity of the sample. Physicians are alerted immediately about critical results.
Greenwich Hospital labs adhere to the highest standards of quality and patient safety. Our labs are accredited by the College of American Pathologists, the industry’s gold standard, as well as the Connecticut Department of Health and/or the New York State Department of Health.
