I am a pediatric endocrinologist, specializing in thyroid disorders in children. My main clinical interests include thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, and autoimmune thyroid disease. I also care for general pediatric endocrinology disorders, such as pituitary, adrenal, and growth problems. I have worked at Yale since 2006 and am a medical specialist based in the Division of Pediatric Surgery. I am an active member of the American Thyroid Association (ATA), the Pediatric Endocrine Society, and The Endocrine Society. I was a co-author on the ATA's Management Guidelines for Children with Thyroid Nodules and Differentiated Thyroid Cancer, published in 2015.
Yale offers children the best of all worlds, especially for those with endocrine disorders, as our multidisciplinary team includes pediatric and endocrine surgeons, radiologists (with expertise in pediatrics, ultrasonography, and nuclear medicine), and pediatric and endocrine pathologists.
