Biography
Dr. Daniel J. Zanchetti was born and raised in Connecticut and graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and his residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center where he received the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Excellence in Teaching Award and was also a Chief Resident. He completed a combined fellowship in Gastroenterology and Geriatrics at Boston Medical center and is also a Harvard Macy Scholar.Dr. Zanchetti has advanced training in inflammatory bowel disease, geriatric gastroenterology, colon cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome, capsule endoscopy, and hepatology including management of chronic Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and cirrhosis. He is proficient in upper and lower diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including management of all forms of gastrointestinal bleeding, complex polypectomy, and endoscopic dilation.
