Mark Altman, MD, provides orthopedic care to children and adults. He treats a wide range of hand, wrist, shoulder and elbow conditions with surgical and non-surgical techniques. His areas of expertise include degenerative conditions and arthritis, sports injuries, overuse syndromes, simple and complex fractures, and soft tissue trauma of the nerves, tendons and muscles.
Dr. Altman also treats general orthopedic trauma.Dr. Altman is dual board certified in orthopedic and in orthopedic surgery of the hand and upper extremities by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). He is an elected member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and has a subspecialty certification in Surgery of the Hand (SOTH), previously referred to as a Certificate in Added Qualification (CAQ) in hand surgery.
