Biography - Matthew M. D'Angelo, DPM

Dr. Matthew D’Angelo is a podiatric foot and ankle surgeon practicing with Northeast Medical Group and in Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. D’Angelo treats patients with all foot and ankle conditions, including wound care, nail irregularities, deformities, heel pain, joint pain, tendon and ligament disorders, flat feet, sports injuries, fractures, and complications from diabetes and peripheral vascular disease. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut. He then received his doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating class Salutatorian, Summa Cum Laude, and Student of the Year, voted by his peers and faculty. He completed his residency training at Yale New Haven Hospital with specialization in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, including diabetic and peripheral vascular disease limb salvage. He was presented the Residency Excellence Award three consecutive years by the Yale Department of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS).
