Biography - Matthew N. Goldenberg, MD, MSc

Matthew Goldenberg, MD, MSc, specializes in emergency psychiatry and has extensive experience in medical student education and psychiatric clerkship direction. His clinical focus is on providing immediate psychiatric care and crisis intervention.

An associate professor of psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Goldenberg emphasizes connectedness, transparency, and innovation in psychiatric education. His interests include global mental health, physician political behavior, race in medicine, health promotion, international mental health, and refugee mental health.

Dr. Goldenberg earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and completed his residency in general psychiatry at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he also served as chief resident. He holds a master of science degree in global mental health from King's College London.
