Nicholas Tzikas, MD, is a family medicine doctor and neurologist specializing in the medical and interventional management of headaches and other facial pain syndromes.
Some common facial pain syndromes include chronic headaches, migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, and atypical facial pain syndrome, which is chronic facial pain with no apparent cause.
Dr. Tzikas is an assistant professor of clinical neurology at Yale School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University. He completed his residency in surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock/Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital.
