Sundas Rashid, MD

Sundas Rashid, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician, enjoys developing long-term relationships with her patients and their families, being the first point of contact for a wide range of health concerns. Outpatient medicine allows her to understand each patient's health in the context of their daily life, values and challenges. Dr. Rashid has a special interest in preventive care, treatment for diabetes and hypertension and skin care.

Dr. Rashid earned her medical degree from Riphah International University in Pakistan. She completed her residency at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital and her postdoctoral research at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. In her free time, Dr. Rashid enjoys running outdoors, going to gym and playing tennis. She believes these play a vital role for her mental health and encourages her patients to adopt the same approach. Dr. Rashid is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). She is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
