Terri Huynh, M.D., is passionate about promoting the health of women and providing compassionate care at the highest standards by utilizing her skills in advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery. Her clinical expertise covers fibroids, adenomyosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, and hysterectomy.
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006, she made her way to the East Coast for her medical training. She received her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine prior to completing her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She went on to complete a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Christiana Care in Newark, Delaware where she remained on faculty. After several years in Delaware, she has returned to Yale to serve the Greater New Haven community and advance reproductive health. Dr. Huynh is dedicated to championing medical education and served as the Education Chief Resident in her final year of residency. She previously served as the Associate Director for the Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Christiana Care and was the recipient of the 2019 Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Excellence in Teaching Award. She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
