Y Access Transfer Center
The Y Access Transfer Center is a 24/7 patient transfer service that supports the streamlined transfer and admission to Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital or a Yale New Haven Health System hospital. With one call to 888-YNHH-BED (888-964-4233), physicians and pediatric healthcare professionals wishing to discuss a potential transfer can receive direct consultation with a Yale attending physician. If necessary, one of our highly skilled pediatric or neonatal transport teams trained in pediatric/neonatal airway management, advanced trauma life support, and critical patient management can be rapidly deployed to provide transportation to Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital or a Yale New Haven Health System community hospital via our specially equipped ambulance or helicopter.
Pediatric Consultation Line
Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital (YNHCH) Pediatric Consultation Line is a unique service for community-based pediatricians and pediatric healthcare professionals delivering care in the outpatient setting. One call to 888-YNHH-BED (888-964-4233) will provide direct access to a YNHCH specialist for brief clinical guidance or to assist with arranging an outpatient referral or transfer to Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital.

ACCESS Mental Health CT
The ACCESS Mental Health CT program offers expert pediatric psychiatric consultations for children and adolescents experiencing mental health issues, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Services include:
- Free telephone consultation within 30 minutes of initial call
- Assistance with finding community-based behavioral health services
- Behavioral health training and education
