Endoscopy Center – New Haven - Saint Raphael Campus

Overview

The Endoscopy Center on Saint Raphael Campus offers a wide range of outpatient endoscopic procedures which are nonsurgical treatments used to examine a person's digestive tract. Using an endoscope, a flexible tube with a light and camera attached to it, a physician can view inside a patient’s digestive tract on a monitor.

Endoscopic Procedures

  • Capsule Endoscopy
  • Colonoscopy
  • Complex ERCP procedures
  • Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD)
  • Endoscopy
  • Per oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM)
  • Pneumatic/Balloon Dilation

A physician referral is required.

Please follow these steps for drop off, pick up, waiting and parking.

Arrival

• Arrive at the George Street Garage, level 3A located at 639 George St. Please let us know if the patient you’re transporting needs physical assistance by calling 203-789-3273 and remain in your car until one of our associates comes out to meet you.

• Drop off the patient at hospital entrance on level 3A. The garage connects directly to the hospital.

• There is a small fee for garage parking. For parking details, see Saint Raphael Campus.


Pick-up Instructions 
We will contact you when you can pick up the patient. Please proceed to the same location you used for drop off and call the Endoscopy Center at 203-789-3273 to let them know you are picking up a patient. Please remain in your car as we escort the patient to you.
