Overview

Yale New Haven Hospital’s Center for Advanced Endoscopy is a leader in the northeastern region of the United States for advanced endoscopy services, providing expert services with excellent outcomes. The Center for Advanced Endoscopy is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of endoscopists, pancreatologists, endoscopic nurses and technicians focused on diagnosis, and therapy of complex pancreatic and biliary disorders, and gastrointestinal malignancy.

Endoscopic procedures performed include:

  • Complex ERCP procedures
  • Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD)
  • Endoscopic suturing
  • Enteral stenting
  • EUS-ERCP rendezvous
  • EUS-guided hepaticogastrostomy and pancreaticogastrostomy
  • Per oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM)
  • Pseudocyst drainage and pancreatic necrosectomy
  • Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and cryotherapy for Barrett’s esophagus, gastric antral vascular ectasia, malignancy
  • RFA via ERCP for cholangiocarcinoma
