Office of Health Care Access to hold public hearing about YNHH acquisition of HSR

The State of Connecticut Department of Public Health’s Office of Health Care Access will hold a public hearing on the proposal for Yale New Haven Hospital’s acquisition of the Saint Raphael Healthcare System, Inc. and the Hospital of Saint Raphael.

Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH), part of Yale New Haven Health, is a nationally recognized, 1,541-bed, not-for-profit hospital serving as the primary teaching hospital for the Yale School of Medicine (YSM). New Haven, CT (May 17 2024) –Yale New Haven Health hospitals – Bridgeport, Greenwich, Lawrence+ Memorial, Westerly and Yale New Haven hospitals – have each received the designation of “LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer” in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 16th edition of the Healthcare Equality Index (HEI).
