4/19/2012 — Yale New Haven Hospital has been named to the 2012 Becker's Hospital Review list of the "Great Places to Work in Healthcare." Becker's top 100 workplaces list recognizes healthcare organizations that create an outstanding workplace through robust benefits, opportunities for development and a strong sense of community.
In describing their selection process, Becker's considers workplaces that go "above and beyond" to keep their employees healthy and motivated, consistently achieve high employee satisfaction scores and report low turnover rates.
According to Becker's, YNHH was recognized in part due to its various programs benefiting employees including an annual merit pay program, year-end bonuses based on the hospital's overall performance, special achievement awards and several programs designed to welcome employee feedback and encourage communication between staff and management.

A gift in bloom: the Auxiliary donates the Sanctuary Forest to enhance the Adams Neurosciences Center
New Haven, CT (October 17, 2025) – The Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) Auxiliary has made a funding pledge to help create the Sanctuary Forest that will serve as a restorative space for patients, loved ones and staff and the Adams Neurosciences Center on the hospital’s Saint Raphael Campus. Construction of the Neurosciences Center, the largest project of its kind in the state’s history, is about 75 percent complete.
